Loved that it was a short walk from train station, loved the bar that was open anytime for us to get together with a few people. It was large, bright and breezy. The Breakfast was reasonable. We were travelling with a couple, we had however booked separately and they had a baby, but they were able to book us together on the same floor a room apart. Reception were lovely people, very friendly and welcoming. Was perfect.

The staff welcome you with a smile, they are friendly and very accomodating Room is clean. The place is easy to find, near the city centre and has few parking, but if the parking is full, thetlre is a public parking just opposite the hotel. Usually, the Holiday inn has complimentary welcome bottle water not sure why we did not have. There are complimentary tea, coffee and kettle good for cold weather. I found it the heating or air condition will take a while to work, but apart from this, we had a peaceful night spent on a comfortable bed.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, fantastic staff, great size rooms, scrummy breakfast and the in-house restaurant is very good. Parking was simple - just across the road, through the underpass and you're at the hotel - and the hotel validates your parking chip and we only paid £7 for parking when we left. They also stored our luggage on the last day, so we were free for another day out and collected it that evening. The whole experience simplified and added to a really rejuvenating long weekend away. We will go back. The location is great for getting into London and also exploring further afield. I was really impressed - and believe me, that doesn't happen often.

Firstly the hotel was easy to find, having travelled for 3 hours by car that makes a difference; and there was space in the hotel's car park, which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Reception delightful, the room very comfortable and quiet; I discovered a very good bar with food, when I got back in the evening; next morning, the breakfast was more than one could wish for. And as a bonus, having to 'check-out' by midday gave me a chance to explore the town before my return journey. I look forward to returning.

From the great location only 10 minutes away from the stevenage train station to just a couple of steps across the road to all the shops you need and roughly a 13 minute walk to the cinema and or boiling ally. The cleanliness was brilliant, and the bedroom was homely and the staff, the staff were very helpful and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. So far, it is the best hotel I have been in.

An exception welcome from the reception team, who managed to check us in a little earlier than expected - was greatly appreciated. The room was massive, including the size of the bed. Really modern room (we booked a premium room), great bathroom products. Never stayed at a Holiday Inn before and have to say, I'll be searching out Holiday Inn's in future if they are all like this. Great breakfast selection and reasonably priced.

Very clean, very friendly staff, excellent food (beat burger I’d had in years!) comfortable and quiet room. Soft and hard pillows were both provided with an option to order feather pillows. Luxury shampoo has made my hair very soft and glossy today.

The room was large (premium king room), bed comfortable and it was excellent value for money. It was within walking distance of some places to eat and the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful and the bar and breakfast area was surprisingly modern and very clean. There was a range of food for breakfast, hot and cold

I liked the lay out of the room very comfy bed pillows the shower was great the powere of it massgaed my head pretty straight forward to use very cosey yes .x

The night manager Francis has exceptional customer service, very calm and professional. I was exhausted and very grumpy however by the time I got to my room I was laughing and feeling very relaxed. Thank you Francis for the hospitality, patience and support and gave us when you arrived. You made our experience there great Restaurant staff were also amazing and lovely to our kids, we’re always there to assist and happy to make the stay comfortable. You have amazing staff members
